New Zealand’s experienced pace spearhead Matt Henry has long been regarded as one of the most reliable seamers in international cricket. Known for his accuracy, ability to generate movement with the new ball, and effectiveness in high-pressure situations, Henry has consistently delivered across formats for New Zealand. His knack for striking early and controlling the flow of runs makes him a valuable asset in the T20 format. The 34-year-old has more than 360 international wickets to his name and continues to be an integral part of New Zealand’s bowling departments across all three formats. Henry has played just six TATA IPL matches so far in his career and returns to CSK after being a spare bowler for them in the 2015 season. He was onboarded for INR 2 crore ahead of IPL 2026, and with his experience on the global stage and ability to adapt to different conditions, Henry adds both skill and composure to the CSK bowling unit.
